Falling Skies

This is another Alien Invasion series. After the coming of the aliens and them nuking the world to hell, only a few humans survive the blast and struggle to create a new life while forging a resistance that will fight the aliens.Tom Mason is a History professor who is the second in command of the 2nd Massachusetts Regiment, a group of survivors who have come together.Tom uses his knowledge in theoretical warfare to teach his regiment how stage a successful attack.
Kama kawaida  the Aliens are super ugly lizards which they call the skitters and are protected by huge drowns called the mech which have a body armor that is bullet proof. The skitters steal children which they enslave by attaching an object to their spines which make them submissive to the skitters and the removal of it from their backs kills them instantly.
The series ain't that bad,its worth watching it.
