This Joe finds himself moving in with Melissa as her "manny." after he could not find a job since he was being investigated for fraud in which Melissa's brother, who owned a company in which joey was working for, swindled alot of money from many people and fled the country. The problem is that Melissa is a local politician who suddenly finds herself responsible for her nephew and niece after her brother flees the scandal while her sister-in-law winds up in prison. The scandal is probably political as well, as Melissa is apparently from a long political family.
Melissa and Joey who have never been parents before are faced with bringing up two teenage children with Melissa always trying to be the fun auntie as she has always been and joey the upright person who always try to do the right thing even if it means being the mean dude in the house.Joey trys to cope with his new job as the house keeper after he lost everything because of scandal by maintaining his masculinity while Melissa juggles her job as a city council woman and her new status in life as a guardian.
