This is a superhero drama series.the story is about a detective Vince Faraday who loses his family and his wife when an evil Velain by the name Chess frames him for the murder of the city's police chief. It all begins when Faraday could not stop the implosive device planted at the Chiefs car from going off.He leaves the police force and his long time friend and partner Marty Voyt hooks him up with a job at a security firm by the name Ark which is run by a billionaire by the name Peter Flemming.
Farady one night receives a suspicious email from a person named Orwell who him gives a tip about a train cargo carrying the same implosive device that killed the chief. On receiving the news, He calls Marty and tells him to meet him down at the train station.Little did he know that the shipment belonged to Ark security with which Marty knew all about it.He therefore walks into a trap and he is captured and evidence planted on him showing that he is 'Chess'  which will implicate him to the chief's murder.Unfortunately he is caught on news cameras as he tries to escape and he ends up saving himself from an explosion. With the world and his family think that he is dead,Faraday is saved by Max Malini and his carnival of crime, a group of robbers masking themselves as a carnivale.Peter Flemming on the other hand uses the situation to show how the police are incompetent and that the people should let his private security firm take over the security of the city which they eventually agree to give it to him.Max teaches Faraday to use the 'cape' an ancient coat that is believed to hold special powers.Faraday now use the cape to fight crime in the city and also to prove his innocence by showing that Peter Flemming and 'Chess' are the same person
