The series is about five friends who run a practice together as doctors each having his or her own specialty.
It starts with Addison a Neunatal sergeon who moves from Seattle Grace Hospital (Yes the one from Greys Anatomy if you are wondering) to Los Angeles for a new start at life.She meets with her best friend Naomi Bennett a fertility specialist and her ex husband Sam Bennett who work at a private practice.They offer Addison a job at the practice where she now faces copping with the other doctors, a is psychiatrist Violet Turner, pediatrician Cooper Freedman, alternative medicine specialist Pete Wilder, and receptionist Dell Parker who are all partners of the business.
The series shows how this doctors cope with the everyday life of patients and also their own personal lives.
Its quite interesting and funny.
